Sorry to bore everybody with amp talk again but there's no point in wasting money on stuff when I can ask knowledgable folk like you.

I'm getting the tiny terror and a 4x12 but I also need a tremolo, a reverb and a power boost pedal.

I've got a thing for EH pedals so was going to go for a Holy Grail, a Pulsar and an LPB1 power boost.

Am I making a big mistake? are there better pedals for less money?

I've been looking at reviews and all that but I've not found anything that really demonstrates the lpb well. What I want is for a pedal to increase the level and drive of whatever setting I've got everything else set to, in particular when I've got a drive setting I want to hit the pedal and get a lead setting for single note stuff.

You want to try my Barillo Boost pedal sometime? It's basically a Stratoblaster booster but it should give you an idea of what the LPB will do.

Also, my Big Chief pedal has an LPB as part of it's circuit, albeit with an Electra distortion and an EQ added.

I endorse the Barillo Boost pedal and would not perform a four-note guitar solo without one.

I'd love to! Cheers

not to do pancho out of a sale bt i've got this

does reverb and tremolo and is an analog fuzz pedal. problem is you can only use reverb or tremolo one at a time.

I was thinking of this but I want to get away from complicated gear (It's not really complicated but I want "one hit" stuff)

Have you seen this demo of it? it does no justice to what the pedal can do but the video confuses me.

the video was far too annoying to watch for more than a minute so i'd say no. basically you'd probably have to fiddle with it in between songs (as i do) but the reverb is amazing and the tremolo is really nice.

probably not what you're after.

They really do sound great but I hate fiddling with pedals between songs. In fact I hate any gaps between songs unless there is some genuinely funny banter.

Smack Converter kindly sold me a Pulsar pedal nice and cheap today, Now I just need to get a power supply for it and the other pedals that will be coming soon.

Pancho, where did you get that power supply you lent to me and how much are they?

Also, I've tried the Barillo Boost and can confirm that it is excellent, now trying to decide if I should be frivolous and buy that or the LPB-1.

This has given me an idea, would it be possible to put all of my pedals into a larger pedal box? I would want to include all the controls for each pedal and the selector switch for amp channels and reverb as well.

It's going to be in a month or so but I would like the following combined

Electric Mistress
Pulsar
LPB-1
Big Muff/Rat (not decided yet)
Amp footswitch

It would need an In and Out, power and a din connector for the channel switching.

Is this possible or practical and also if anybody knows how to do it could you pm me a price?

It wouldn't be very practical unless you've got a load of money to spend. Also, you'd be better off with a pedal board and spend the next 12 months perfecting your sounds, otherwise you might be stuck with 5/6 pedals in a box that you don't really use anymore.

Each effect would have to be taken apart, have the circuit board taken out and put into the bigger box. If you decide you don't need that effect anymore it would need putting back together again and the remaining pedals in the box would need to be rewired.

You'd be much better keeping them separate for now. By the way, I'm selling my pedal board if you fancy - £50. I paid £100 and have hardly used it for the past 18 months. If I remember correctly it powers 6 9v pedals and one 12v.
